Remote Learning

We have see outstanding effort from home learning last week— both from the children and carers/parents! Well done and thank you. We know how tricky it is balancing everything at home. Staff will continue to upload the lesson activities daily and respond to children and their work. I am so proud of the whole school community and how yet again we have come together during difficult times

As requested by the Dependent for Education, we will be monitoring if our students are accessing the home learning and doing their best to complete their work online. They have asked that your child posts work daily. They have also asked us to contacted you to see if we can support you in any way to help your child access the home learning provide by us if work is not posted.

Keeping Safe

Can you please make sure that your child is supervised whilst using the internet to ensure that they are only accessing content that is appropriate to them. In school, they have had online safety lessons and should be aware of how to keep themselves safe online and what to do if they don’t feel safe.

It would be a good idea to ask your child to tell you ways in which they can keep themselves safe while using the internet so that you as a parent can ensure that they understand.

It is also important that you consider the amount of time that your child is spending online and sitting at a tablet/computer screen. Make sure that you build in time for breaks so that children are not looking at a screen for long periods of time. This might need limiting their social screen time as they will already be spending more time during the day now working online.

As always, if you have problems, or need support, just give us a call or send an email into
