Dear Carers and Parents,

It has been great to see the children getting back into the swing of their learning remotely, and for those at school as well. It was also fantastic to hear that in a week’s time all of the children can return to school on the 8th March. We can’t wait to see them all come through our gate, and we will be sending out a letter with key information shortly. This letter will detail staggered start and finish times, including a change if you have more than one child at the school, as well as some important reminders.

We do need to stress to you that the threat Covid poses to our Exhall community is still high. Just because the vaccine is now being given to more people, children are returning to school and that the weather is more pleasant, doesn’t mean that the rules change. Can you remind your children as staff are still vulnerable, as well as themselves.

We continue to celebrate how well the children are doing at home. There is one more week of remote learning so let’s give another big push and make sure all the children attend the Team meetings and upload their work every day onto Seesaw. This will support them on the 8th March where the topics and learning will continue from what they are doing remotely. Please remember it is World Book Day on Thursday, and Mrs. So has lots of virtual/ in school fun planned.

A thank you to all our staff who have worked so hard during this current lockdown. Supporting your children in school and virtually has been a challenge, but they have successfully managed it. They are all in on Friday afternoon to get the school ready and clean for Monday’s return – thank you and well done for the efforts you’ve put in.

Take care, everyone.
