Dear Families,

We have had another wonderful week in school. It was fantastic to see your children highly engaged in their learning activities, and it was an absolute pleasure to talk to them and see the wonderful things they been doing. With Covid cases on the decline, and news about self-isolating rules possibly to change, we are all hoping that some sense of a new normality will be felt by everyone soon.

Please remember that school will be closed on Friday 18th February due to staff training. The last day then is Thursday 17th February, after school club will still be on that day, and school will reopen Monday 28th February.

 

Disco tomorrow!

Please make sure you have your tickets and left contact information etc with the office. Y3 and Y4 will bring in their disco wear into school and change before going in.  

Year 3 & 4 Disco – 3.15 – 4.15 pm

Year 5 & 6 Disco – 4.30 – 5.30 pm

The cost of the trip is £17.75 per child. Could you please email admin2571@welearn365.com to confirm that you give permission for your child to attend and pay via Pay360. If the school is in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding for your child, support is available towards the cost of the trip.

Favourite' meal choice

As you may be aware Educaterers are running the 'Children's Favourite' meal choice promotion again this year. Class F have selected their favourite meal choices to create their very own menu of Breakfast Brunch or Cheesy Pasta or Jacket Potato.

 

Year 4 & 5 Carnival Headdresses

Year 4 & 5 are going to make Rio Carnival Headdresses as part of their DT project this week.  Resources for headdresses will be provided but if your child would like to accessorise theirs, for example with feathers or gems, they are more than welcome to bring these items into school.

Arrangements for PE and Forest School, until the week beginning 28th March 2022

Students will need to come into school in their PE and Forest School kit on their specified PE days. These are as follows:

Class C Monday & Thursday

Class D Monday & Tuesday

Class E Tuesday & Friday

Class F Wednesday & Thursday

Class G Wednesday & Friday

Class A will have Forest School on Thursday afternoons during these weeks, can all students arrive in their Forest School kit but wearing their school sweatshirt/ cardigan – they can change this before the session starts to something more appropriate.
