Next week is SATs week for our Year 6 students which the children and staff have all worked extremely hard for. Year 6 parents, please remind your children not to worry about the tests; as long as they do their best, that is all we can ask. Please also try to make sure that they are well rested and arrive on time each morning, watch out for roadworks, as all of this will help. If your child is unwell, please phone the school on the morning as soon as possible after 8.30am, and speak to office staff (rather than leaving a message). I'm sure all of the children will try their hardest - good luck Year 6, we are sure you will do just great!
There are signs up regarding roadworks at the junction of Blank Bank and Rectory Drive. The notice does say this will only happen between 9.00am – 3.00pm, but this isn’t always followed. In the past any roadworks in the area has had significant impact on all local roads, sometimes to beyond Bayton Road/ Bedworth town centre, so please allow a little more time when dropping off/ collecting, or just walk in if you can.
Please remember to send in details if your child has achieved things outside of school for our Friday celebration assembly.
We are following the NHS guidance regarding Covid Symptoms in school. If your child has a temperature and sickness, please keep them at home until they are well – three days is recommended. You do not need to carry out a test unless medically advised to do so. The NHS guidance for children is available here: NHS Link
