Dear Families,

Well, it’s the start of the last half term of the school year already!

We had a fantastic ending to a very busy and fun-filled half term by celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The weather was unusually hot and sunny, and the children so enjoyed playing with their flags that were kindly donated by a parent- thank you. We all wished the Queen our heartfelt congratulations on the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne.

Have a look at the last newsletter to see how we celebrated in style!

We return to school tomorrow for our final half term of the year - always an exciting one in which we welcome our new Y3 children, current students get to meet their new teachers and for Year 6, they spend a day in their new secondary school.

Please ensure that your children arrive at school before the gates close at 8.45am so that they can be registered on time. School staff start their supervision at 8.35am, please make sure your child only arrives around this time for their safety.

We are following the NHS guidance regarding Covid Symptoms in school. If your child has a temperature and sickness, please keep them at home until they are well – three days is recommended. You do not need to carry out a test unless medically advised to do so. The NHS guidance for children is available here: NHS Link

Outside Achievements

Please remember to send in details if your child has achieved things outside of school for our Friday celebration assembly. The students love sharing with us what they have been doing.

Students will need to come into school in their PE and Forest School kit on their specified PE days.

Thank you
